With 3 ponies bathed and ready for Southern Counties Show, it was a given that Idyllic Pirouette would choose this morning to foal!! At the age of 20 and having had some difficulties last time around we decided to stay home and this time things went very well. She produced the most stunning dun colt by Delami Darth Vader at around 5am - Christened 'Sandy' for now, we hope he will keep his colour!

Heathside Honey Bee was joint top priced mare at the Fayre Oaks sale, sold for £6500 to David Hodge and Julian Walters of the Halstock & Blackator Studs, Devon. Interestingly Honey and high flyer sale topper, Lacy Buzbee both carried Criban Glory Bee in their pedigrees. - Buzbee's grand dam and Honey's great grand Dam.
Islyn Anna also sold to a lovely home in Spain with Ricardo De La Rosa Garcia, Aires De Andalucia Stud (www.welshponyspain.com)
A good weekend was certainly had by all!

Arian made her debut as a brood mare, we were pleased with a good 2nd to the eventual supreme in hand of the show - Colne Tiara. Her foal Aeddan was a little star taking everything in his stride.

Synod Mary Lou has produced a stunning and much awaited filly foal, Wensley Minnerva - a full sister to Wensley Mithril. She has a lot of unfolding to do, being a typical tall Mary foal but looks very promising.

Idyllic Tarantino has been sold and today left for his new home in Holland at the Vennebos Stud with Rhode' Thielen. We wish her great success with him, and look forward to seeing his foals in the future. He has fantastic bloodlines which should be a great addition to Rhode's breeding program.

Jubilee has been here on short term show livery whilst his ridden producer, Rebecca Jarvis has been busy getting married. It has been a pleasure to work and show him and to remind him of in hand welsh showing's atmosphere! I hope he doesn't forget his manners now as he has now returned to Rebecca to continue his ridden career for the rest of the season.
