This autumn has been very busy - certainly unlike the last one, we seem to have been lucky at the foals shows with 2 Supreme Champions, 3 Champions, 3 Reserve Champions and 8 wins. Wensley Arian has also been broken so watch this space, roll on 2012!

A day of drop offs & pick ups so an excuse to take Nefydd Abwlch out one last time where he was 1st NPS Leyhill Small Breeds Qualifier. That is definatly the last show of the year for me!!

WPCS Performance & Gelding awards
We are thrilled that Wensley Matador was crowned WPCS National Sec A Jnr Gelding of the Year and was also overall Reserve Supreme Champion Gelding to 'gelding supremo' Chris Stansfield & Sec C Ashmeadow Ragtime.

Royal Welsh Winter Fair
Good weather and good company and huge class entries, so we were extremely pleased with how Lledrith Dakota & Wensley Mimosa behaved both coming 5th in their respective split class but just outside the final 6.
Wensley Afon also went to his new home in Cardiff, we wish his new owner lots of luck showing him!

Hay on Wye Sale
Just went along for a jolly, with no real intention to buy until we saw the lovely young mare Synod Mulberry, a close relative of, and very similar in type to our superb producer Synod Mary Lou, going back to her dam Twyford Mallard, we realised she would be a very sensible investment and brought her home!

Fayre Oaks Sale
Wensley Mimosa sold well to the Waddington family in Yorkshire, she certainly turned a few heads when she strutted her stuff in the grass ring on saturday morning.
We also prepared and brought forward Sunwillow Seren Wen and Sunwillow Sirrocco for Ned Dyvig, and 2 nice geldings for the Waitwith Stud, all sold well with Sirrocco going to Holland.
A good weekend was had by all!
